Our privacy promise: what we never do.

• We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal information or family scenarios.
• We never send your name, email address, or identity to third-party AI or voice-synthesis models.
• We never train machine learning models on your typed vents or personal voice recordings.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers, cross-app profiling, or intrusive analytics cookies.

Information we handle.

A. Your words and voice (processed in memory).

• Typed vents & prompts: When you type a parenting situation into Momitate, your text is screened for safety and sent to secure language models solely to compose your empathetic title and script. This processing happens in-memory; we do not store what you typed on our servers once your momitate is generated.
• Microphone input: If you tap the microphone, your voice recording is securely transmitted solely to transcribe speech into text on your screen. The raw audio clip is processed immediately and is not permanently stored or used for any voice identification.
• Personal moments are yours: Finished momitates generated for yourself are held in your device's browser memory. They are only saved to our secure database if you explicitly tap "Save" while signed into an account.

B. "About you" profile settings. If you use the personalization features in My Momitate (such as your season of motherhood, daily rhythm, preferred tone, or village support), these choices are stored securely in your account or local browser storage. They act as a silent background lens to keep your momitates relevant, and are never tied to external advertising IDs.

C. Optional account information. Account registration is entirely optional. If you choose to sign in to sync saved momitates across devices, we collect your email address and authentication ID, and use them solely to authenticate you and sync your saved favorites.

D. "Send a Momitate" gift information. When you create a momitate for a friend:

• We collect the recipient's first name, your first name, an optional personal note, and the length chosen.
• The personalized audio is generated and placed in private, encrypted cloud storage.
• 7-day automatic deletion: Gift links stay active for exactly 7 days. When the 7-day period expires, the custom audio recording, note, and access link are automatically deleted.
• Recipients opening a gift link see only your first name and personal note; they are never shown your email address, account details, or user ID.

E. Technical & abuse-prevention data. To protect the service against denial-of-service attacks, automated scrapers, and cost abuse, we process:

• Hashed IP addresses: Client IP addresses are cryptographically hashed server-side with a secret salt to enforce daily fair-use limits without storing raw IP logs.
• Device locale: When crisis resources are required, we detect your broad geographic region on your device to display relevant crisis telephone lines and text numbers, without GPS tracking.
• Mom On tools: The tools save only your sound and theme choices, and only on this device.

How we share information.

We only share information with vetted service providers who act strictly as data processors under confidentiality agreements to operate our infrastructure:

• Cloud hosting & database infrastructure: Secure cloud database and edge hosting providers that host our encrypted application.
• AI & language processing: Secure enterprise AI gateways that generate scripts without retaining training rights over user inputs.
• Voice synthesis providers: Enterprise voice synthesis providers that convert approved scripts into audio recordings. No user names, emails, or account IDs are ever passed to the voice synthesis provider.
• Legal compliance: In the rare event that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or to protect the vital safety of individuals in an emergency.

Children's privacy.

Momitate is intended for adult parents and caregivers aged 18 and older. Children's breathing tools in the Mom On tools are designed for parents to guide with their children. We do not collect personal data from children.

Data retention & your rights.

• Ephemeral data: Vents and speech audio are discarded immediately after generation.
• Gift recordings: Deleted automatically after 7 days.
• Your account & saved moments: You can remove any saved momitate from My Momitate at any time. If you wish to delete your account and all associated profile preferences entirely, email us at info@momitate.com and we will permanently delete your records within 30 days.

Updates to this policy.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates or legal requirements. We will indicate the date of the latest revisions at the top of this page.
